Com-Net Software, the leading provider of Passenger Communication Systems in North America announced today Midland International Airport in Texas recently installed two new communication systems from Com-Net Software’s ECLIPSX® suite of products. Just before the holiday season Midland went live with ECLIPSX Multi-User Flight Information Display System (MUFIDS) 5.0 and Digital Paging 2.0. With these two integrated systems Midland now provides seamlessly integrated aural and visual messaging to its growing passenger base. “Midland International Airport has shown solid growth recently,” said Dave Michaels, Com-Net Software president and CFO. “Their commitment to outstanding operations has no doubt been largely responsible for that success and we hope that their new communication systems will enable that trend to continue.” Midland now offers passengers timely and accurate flight information in the form of displays and audio-based communications from a single flight information database on a common software platform. The newly designed 2.0 release of ECLIPSX Digital Paging provides users with a very intuitive way to update flight information while automating all communications without the need to perform parallel operations in multiple systems. Midland’s ECLIPSX MUFIDS features LCD-TFT Displays, Dell servers and Dell computers for visual flight information. The Digital Paging system features the best-of-breed audio products from industry-leaders Biamp® Systems for CobraNet®-enabled digital signal processing and QSC® Audio for the cleanest signal reproduction and power amplification. |
