Signature Technologies, Inc. Board of Directors today announced organizational changes to facilitate the growth of Com-Net Software. Chairman of the Board, Elie Geva said, “While Com-Net has a record of growth and profitability, we have made several changes aimed at accelerating our growth and remaining an indispensible part of the industries we serve.” The following changes are effective immediately.
Dave Michaels has been named chief executive officer, replacing Geva who continues to serve as chairman of the board. As CEO, Michaels will be responsible for oversight of Com-Net Software and the direction of the company’s growth strategy. “Dave has been instrumental in the success that Com-Net has enjoyed since he joined the company in 1999,” said Geva. “He will continue to do so by leading our growth initiatives into the future.” Geva also announced that former Senior Vice President, Chance Fultz, will rejoin Com-Net Software as president. In his role, Fultz will lead day-to-day operations of Sales and Marketing, Product Development and Operations. “Chance will focus on expanding our current portfolio of offerings and delivering new products and services that the market needs and wants,” said Geva. “Chance is well respected by our customers and the industry as a whole; I am pleased that he has accepted the challenge,” he added. Finally, reporting to Fultz, Mark Mayfield has accepted the appointment to director of sales and marketing, replacing Mark Schindler who recently departed Com-Net. Mayfield joined Com-Net Software in 2004 as an account executive and was previously director of sales. Continuing in their roles, reporting to Fultz, are Chad Timms, Vice-President of Product Development and Steve Rohrig, Vice-President of Operations. “As a leading provider of passenger communication systems Com-Net is uniquely positioned to bring a greater collaborative and productive experience to its customers through new products and services,” said Fultz. Com-Net has unbelievable employee talent, an incredible customer base, and strong strategic partnerships. I look to continue the excellent tradition of leadership at Com-Net and improve upon the passion, pride, and efficiency with which the company operates today.” Danielle Morton, who joined Com-Net Software in 1996, will continue as controller and director of human resources reporting to Michaels. “All of these changes represent a commitment on the part of Com-Net’s ownership and senior management to grow our position in the market place,” said Michaels. He added, “Even in a difficult economy, we see industry opportunities to provide an expanded suite of products and comprehensive customer service, as well as to reach a growing customer base through an extension of our existing sales channel.” |
