Com-Net Software, the largest dedicated provider of flight information display systems in North America, today announced that it has been selected to provide its ECLIPSX® Multi-Use Flight Information Display System (MUFIDS) to McAllen-Miller International Airport in McAllen, Texas. “McAllen-Miller has been a Com-Net customer since 1994 and we are pleased that our relationship will continue,” said Montee Fiely, Director of Sales and Marketing.
“Com-Net was selected based on several factors that included; the best server operating system, server compatibility, webpage interface, software and hardware maintenance, product reliability and cost. I feel the McAllen-Miller International Airport has selected the best MUFIDS provider based on the needs of our airport,” said Fred Segundo, Assistant Director of McAllen-Miller International Airport.
Com-Net will install ECLIPSX 4.0, the fourth release of its third generation MUFIDS solution. “McAllen was interested in technologies that compliment their overall technical strategy for the city,” said Fiely. “Because ECLIPSX is built on open Internet standards and Microsoft technologies, it is easy for Com-Net to give them the right solution.” |
